Kolthare is one of the Village in Dapoli Taluk in Ratnagiri District in Maharashtra State . Kolthare is located 12.2 km distance from its Taluk Main Town Dapoli.Shri Dev Koleshwar is an ancient Shiva Temple located at Kolthare, a village from Dapoli Taluka of Ratnagiri District from Maharashtra state in India.

Kolthare is yet another secluded beach close to Dabhol famous for the Koleshwar temple 'Kul Daiwat' of many chitpavan families and of all Bhaves(Kaushik Gotra). With a small cove tucked between two hillocks the Kolthare beach with a great camping ground offers a magnificent view from the coconut plantations on the hillocks. At the southern end of the beach there is a small village cemetry. The beach nearby is extremely clean. The ‘Agom Aushadhalay’ is in the vicinity. It is popular for its sale of Ayurvedic medicines.

Nearby attractions include the beaches and temples in the Dapoli area and the Chandika Devi Temple.

Getting there :
Nearest rail head is Khed and the nearest bus stand is Dapoli. It is connectd by state transport buses from Dapoli and Ratnagiri.
